| Shops: | Polbain Stores is licensed and stocks most things, including English Newspapers (advised to order). No Sunday Papers anywhere. Achiltibuie store is fairly limited, sells petrol and diesel. |
| Bars: | Am Fuaran (The Well) in Altandhu, food at midday and evenings. Closed on Sundays. The Summer Isles Bar is in Achiltibuie and is open on Sundays. |
| The Smokehouse: | In Altandhu, sells a good variety of meat and fish |

| Seafood: | Order lobster, crab, prawns from Lance Wilding in Altandhu, next door to the smokehouse. He rows in Reiff bay |

| Cruises: | Round the Summer Isles on the Hectoria
from Badentarbat Pier. The cruise lasts for 3½ hours, this
includes 1 hour ashore. A.M. 10.30 Departure - P.M. 2.15 Departure Lots of seals and seabirds to be seen. No booking necessary. No cruise on Sunday. |
